About The Role
The Application Support Consultant provides day-to-day support for DTP corporate and business applications, including D365, SharePoint, SmartFlow and legacy systems. The role investigates and resolves application issues, maintains service continuity, and ensures applications meet availability, performance and security standards.
The role works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and third-party suppliers to deliver reliable, fit-for-purpose services. It provides technical advice, improves processes, develops solutions to complex problems, conducts research and analysis, and maintains transparent documentation. The role also participates in an on-call roster to respond to after-hours incidents and minimise disruption to business operations.

You’re Someone Who
- Thinks critically and solves problems, identifying root causes and practical solutions that improve application reliability, performance and service outcomes.
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships, understanding the needs of business users, technical teams and third-party providers to achieve positive outcomes.
- Communicates clearly and effectively,
explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and producing concise, accurate documentation and recommendations.
- Has strong technology and service management skills, with experience supporting applications, managing incidents, coordinating releases and using technology tools effectively.
- Plans and coordinates effectively, organising work, resources and priorities while ensuring services, incidents and releases meet agreed standards and requirements.
Qualifications And Experience
You’ll bring:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and/or relevant experience to the role. (Desirable)
- ITIL 4 certification (Mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience providing Level 2 application support for complex enterprise systems (Dynamics 365 or similar), including investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents and problems using professional and independent judgement (Mandatory)
