# Shift Co-Ordinator**Queensland Corrective Services** (Organisation site) Electronic Monitoring and Precinct Management Unit; Community Corrections; Community Corrections & Specialist Operations; WacolThe Electronic Monitoring and Precinct Management Unit (EMPMU) is responsible for the coordination of the Agency’s statewide GPS Monitoring programs and management of the contingency accommodation precinct across the state and consists of the following work units; • Electronic Monitoring and Surveillance Unit (EMSU) - responsible for QCS’s electronic monitoring capability and service delivery. • Precinct Management Unit (PMU) – responsible management of Dangerous Prisoners (Sex Offenders) Act contingency accommodation precincts statewide## Job details| | || --- | --- || Position status | Fixed Term Temporary || Position type | Full time || Occupational group | Community Care || Classification | AO5 || Workplace Location | Brisbane - West || Job ad reference | QLD/701033/26 || Closing date | 25-Sep-2026 || Yearly salary | $104722 - $113618 || Fortnightly salary | $4014.00 - $4355.00 || Job duration | Temporary until 31.12.2026 with possible extension || Contact person | Dylan Meoni || Contact details | Phone: 3727 9872 Access the National Relay Service |Information about the position, duties and responsibilities of the role is available in the attached job description.Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may include an alternative employment basis (temporary; full time or part time).**To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following experience, knowledge and skills:*** Demonstrated experience or understanding of criminal justice environments, including supervision and monitoring approaches in the context of correctional environments.* Proven experience, or the ability to rapidly acquire and apply skills, in the use of technical monitoring systems, information databases,



and asset management processes.* Capability and experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and a variety of internal and external stakeholders.* Demonstrated ability in risk management approaches, and the ability to exercise good judgement and initiative to resolve issues or conflicts.* Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, policy and procedures in an operational environment.* Previous shift management experience, preferably gained within a continuous shift, complex operational context**Other conditions and requirements*** The incumbent will be required to undertake and successfully complete internal pre-service training and associated accreditations, and ongoing training and professional development relevant to the role.* The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class licence is required.* Current Blue Card for working with children or the ability to obtain one within six weeks of commencement is mandatory.* This position will undertake shift work to support the 24/7 operations of the business unit.
