About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Fitter to deliver high-quality repairs, servicing and fault diagnosis across a range of industrial equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused mechanical tradesperson with strong experience in gearboxes, pumps, drives and hydraulic systems.
You will take pride in producing quality work, meeting agreed timeframes and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Service, repair and diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic equipment used in automotive, commercial, off-highway and industrial applications.
- Rebuild, repair and overhaul mechanical equipment, including gearboxes, pumps and drives.
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, valves and cylinders.
- Maintain and overhaul mobile and fixed plant equipment and components.
- Assemble and overhaul undercarriage and final-drive components.
- Complete general workshop duties as required.
- Deliver quality outcomes safely and within agreed timeframes.
What We Are Looking For
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade supported by demonstrated experience servicing, diagnosing and rebuilding hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and cylinders.
- Sound mechanical aptitude,
with experience servicing and repairing gearboxes, pumps and drives.
- Demonstrated hydraulic experience, including rebuilding and repairing pumps, motors, valves and cylinders.
- Experience with transmissions, undercarriage or mobile plant equipment will be highly regarded.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A current driver’s license.
- A commitment to safe work practices, quality workmanship and customer-service excellence.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team setting.
- Flexibility and willingness to carry out site work when required.
