About the role

Wattle & Wonder is a boutique 25-place long-day care service which is close to it's occupancy. Due to the size of the service, it is expected that you will roster yourself on the floor to be with the children accordingly. You will be in charge of your own hours, and must use your best judgement as to how you achieve this. Anywhere from 20-40% on the floor weekly is suggested.

As Centre Director, you will oversee the centre's day-to-day operations, mentor and develop the team, maintain solid relationships with children and families, support enrolment growth, and ensure the service consistently meets all regulatory and quality standards.

- Experienced early childhood leader




- Confident leader who values strong relationships, high-quality education and care
- Experience leading a small team is required
- Aware of how to operate optimally with small team dynamics

About us

Wattle & Wonder is a warm, teacher-owned early learning organisation. Our centre in Winthrop is supported by a sister centre in Kardinya, only 4 minutes away, giving access to a reliable pool of staff to fill rosters and collaborate with. We use our own in-house software for experience programming and have consistent connections to our families. Our centre utilises OWNA for communication and rosters. Fluent English proficiency is required.
