NPD Planning Lead & Project Manager

Location: Sydney
n Salary: Circa $120K base + super

n

We are looking for an energetic, high-impact leader who can turn innovative product ideas into commercially successful launches in a fast-growth, high-energy environment. You will own the global new product development pipeline across consumer health and wellness categories, managing multiple launches from concept through to formulation, testing, regulatory, commercialisation and go-to‐market.

Role

n

You will own and drive the NPD project pipeline across multiple international markets, typically managing concurrent projects at any given time. Your responsibilities include:

n

- Leading end-to-end NPD projects from concept to launch
n
- Managing timelines, critical paths, budgets, documentation and stage‐gate requirements
n
- Coordinating stakeholders across sales, supply chain, quality, brand, eCommerce, marketing, regulatory and finance
n
- Running fast‐paced planning sessions that turn ambiguity into explicit, dated milestones
n
- Maintaining live risk registers and re‐phasing logs
n
- Escalating blockers quickly and holding stakeholders accountable
n
- Supporting launch readiness across manufacture, freight, customer DC and on‐shelf dates
n
- Leading, coaching and developing two direct reports
n
- Driving a sharper, more disciplined approach to NPD governance and execution
n

About you

n

You are highly organised, commercially aware and naturally driven. You can influence senior stakeholders, challenge timelines,



follow up relentlessly and keep projects moving when priorities shift. You ideally bring:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in NPD, product development or project management
n
- Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, health, wellness, food, beverage or other fast‐moving product‐based environments
n
- Strong project management capability across multiple concurrent launches
n
- Confidence managing stakeholders across technical, commercial and operational teams
n
- Experience with project tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com or similar
n
- Strong attention to detail and a bias for execution
n
- The ability to operate at pace in a scale‐up environment
n
- Passion for health, wellness, fitness or consumer products
n
- Relevant qualifications in project management, nutrition, food science, chemistry or a related field
n

Exposure to international regulatory frameworks such as TGA, FDA or similar would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
