The Purpose:

n

Asthe Senior Manager – Risk Policy & Strategy,you'llplay a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening AP+'s enterprise risk framework. Working across the organisation,you'lllead the development and continuous improvement of risk policies, standards and strategic initiatives that ensure our approach to riskremainsaligned with businessobjectivesand evolving regulatory expectations.

This role goes beyond policy creation—you'llhelp embed a strong riskmindsetacross AP+, partnering with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making, improve organisational capability and drive meaningful change. You'llcombine strategic thinking with practical delivery, ensuring risk management becomes part of everyday business and supports AP+'s ambition to deliver secure,resilientand innovative payments for Australia.

The core accountabilities of the role will include:

- Lead the development,implementationand ongoing enhancement of AP+'s Risk Management Strategy, Framework,policiesand standards.
n
- Lead the development of risk appetite measures and supporting metrics, ensuring effectivemonitoringand reporting across the organisation.
n




- Develop and deliver initiatives that strengthen AP+'s risk culture, capability and organisational awareness through engagement,trainingand communications.
n
- Partner with senior stakeholders toprovideexpert advice on risk policy,governanceand strategic risk initiatives.
n
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business leaders to embed risk management practices into everyday decision-making.
n
- Design and implement approaches to measure the effectiveness, adoption and continuous improvement of risk policies and frameworks.
n
- Drive the governance, consultation and approval process for enterprise risk policies and supporting documentation.
n
- Monitor emerging regulatory, industry and operational developments, ensuring AP+'s risk framework continues to evolve in line with best practice.

We'relooking for an experienced risk professional who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery to influence organisational outcomes. You'llbring:

- Significant experiencedeveloping and implementing enterprise risk frameworks, policies,standardsand governance practices within a complex organisation.
n
- Demonstratableexperiencein designing and embedding risk awareness,engagementand cultural uplift programs across diverse stakeholder groups.
n
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles,



regulatoryexpectationsand contemporary governance frameworks.
n
- The ability to translate strategy into practical initiatives that improve organisational capability and strengthen risk maturity.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders,facilitatecomplex discussions and build alignment across the business.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, using data and insights to measure effectiveness andidentifyopportunities for continuous improvement.
n
- Experience preparing high-quality reports, strategic papers and recommendations for executive leadership and governance forums.
n
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and drive engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.
n
- A cooperative leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and building organisational capability.
