Entry Level Underground Miner
n
Your journey with Barminco begins as an Entry Level Underground Miner, working as an underground truck driver and nipper. This role provides a strong foundation and genuine opportunities to progress into a variety of underground mining positions.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Working offside the Jumbo Operator, assisting with the installation of bolts and mesh for ground support
n
- Operating underground dump trucks to haul ore and waste
n
- Completing pre‐start checks on equipment and vehicles
n
- Learning critical underground mining skills as part of an experienced crew
n
n

Who We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from people who:

- Have experience in physically demanding roles such as trades assistants, labourers, farming, or drillers' offsider positions
n
- Are motivated to start a long‐term career in underground mining
n
- Can commit to remote, rostered work on a 2:1 roster
n
n
No underground mining experience? That's okay — if you bring the right attitude, we can provide the training.

What You'll Need

To be successful, you must have:

- Full Australian working rights
n
- A National Police Clearance issued within the last three months
