An exciting opportunity for someone passionate about architecture and the impact thoughtful design can have on the future of healthcare. You’ll work closely with experienced Health Planning Leads, Project Principals, consultants and stakeholders, gaining exposure to complex projects and best-practice clinical planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Health Planning across major healthcare projects, particularly in a planning capacity
- Attend user group and stakeholder meetings and contribute to the development of health planning strategies
- Assist with the planning of a range of healthcare departments, considering spatial relationships, workflows and operational efficiency
- Support coordination with clients, consultants and external stakeholders
- Contribute to design development, construction documentation and room layout sheets
- Work collaboratively with the wider project team to deliver high-quality design outcomes
- Develop your technical and design skills across all stages of major projects
Skills & Experience
- A Master of Architecture or equivalent qualification
- Experience working on healthcare projects
- A genuine interest in healthcare architecture and its impact on people, communities and clinical outcomes
- An understanding of the Australian Health Facility Guidelines or relevant Australian standards
- Strong spatial planning skills and an understanding of clinical workflows
- Good knowledge of the BCA and relevant Australian standards and planning requirements
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong Revit skills are essential; experience with dRofus, Rhino, Enscape or Lumion is highly regarded
- Local experience is highly valued, although international candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
- A proactive, curious and solutions-focused approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop
