We are looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Carpet Cleaner & Flood Restoration Technician to join our growing team.

This is not simply a general cleaning position. We are ideally looking for someone who already has experience within the carpet cleaning, restoration or water-damage remediation industry and is confident working independently, dealing directly with clients and producing a consistently high standard of work.

The Role

Your role will include a combination of carpet and upholstery cleaning, water-damage restoration and flood remediation work across residential and commercial properties.

Day-to-day duties may include:

- Residential and commercial carpet cleaning

- Operating skilled truck-mounted carpet cleaning equipment

- Upholstery and rug cleaning

- Stain treatment and specialised cleaning

- Attending water-damaged and flooded properties

- Extraction of water from affected areas

- Installation of air movers,



dehumidifiers and other drying equipment

- Moisture testing and monitoring of affected areas

- Recording drying progress and site information

- Removal of water-damaged building materials where required

- Assisting with remediation and restoration works

- Assessing carpet condition and selecting the appropriate cleaning method

- Maintaining and caring for vehicles, machinery and equipment

- Communicating professionally with property managers, homeowners, tenants and commercial clients

- Ensuring every job is completed to a consistently high standard

What We're Looking For

Previous carpet cleaning experience is preferred. Flood Restoration experience is preferred.

Ideally, you will have experience with:

- Residential and commercial carpet cleaning

- Truck-mounted carpet cleaning machinery

- Flood and water-damage remediation

- Water extraction and structural drying

- Air movers and dehumidifiers

- Moisture monitoring

- Upholstery cleaning

- Working within occupied residential properties

- Property management or insurance-related restoration work

Flood remediation experience is highly regarded; however, further training can be provided to the right person with strong carpet-cleaning experience.

To Be Successful, You Must:

- Hold a current driver's licence

- Be confident driving a van and preferably able to drive manual.

- Be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving equipment

- Have a strong work ethic and reliable employment history





- Have excellent attention to detail

- Be able to communicate confidently and professionally with clients

- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team

- Take pride in your workmanship

- Be reliable, punctual and well presented

- Be willing to learn and further develop your technical skills

- Be able to problem-solve while working on site

- Have a police clearance / working with children clearance.

This can be a physically demanding role, so previous experience in carpet cleaning, restoration, construction, maintenance or labour-intensive work will be beneficial.
