About the role

We are looking for experienced and reliable Event Baristas for permanent part-time positions working primarily Friday to Sunday. We can offer approximately 24 hours per week, with additional hours potentially available during busy event periods. This is not your standard café role. Every week is different – you could be serving coffee at a corporate activation one day, a sporting event the next, and a major Melbourne festival on the weekend.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing consistently high-quality espresso coffee
- Working from our mobile coffee carts and trailers
- Setting up and packing down coffee equipment at events
- Providing friendly and skilled customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Working efficiently during high-volume event periods
- Representing The Coffee Mill professionally at corporate and major events

About you

- Have strong commercial barista experience




- Are confident working independently on a coffee machine
- Can handle high-volume service
- Are reliable and punctual
- Have excellent presentation and customer service skills
- Enjoy working in different locations and event environments
- Are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Are comfortable with early starts when required
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence

The Coffee Mill is a Melbourne-based mobile coffee catering company specialising in corporate events, festivals, sporting events, schools, private functions and major events across Victoria. We operate a fleet of purpose-built coffee carts and trailers and are looking for experienced baristas to join our growing events team.
