Beyond Limits Outdoor Education (Beyond Limits) is a growing ministry of the Uniting Church in Australia, delivering outdoor education, recreation, leadership and camp-based experiences across South Australia. Programs are conducted at Adare, Nunyara, Tarooki and a range of other venues and locations.

An opportunity exists for a permanent, full-time, Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of programs and expeditions conducted at Adare Camp and Caravan Park, located in Victor Harbor, and throughout the surrounding region.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in outdoor education, recreation, youth development, camps and adventure-based learning. However, candidates with transferable skills from different fields are also strongly encouraged to apply, such as education or community services.

Reporting to the Program Manager, key responsibilities include:

- Demonstrating, by example, the provision of exceptional Christian hospitality.

- Assisting with the design, planning and costing of programs and expeditions to achieve intended outcomes.

- Coordinating logistical requirements with camp coordinators, venue staff, schools, community groups and other stakeholders.

- Supporting the delivery of high-quality outdoor education, recreation and camp experiences.

- Ensuring activity and expedition equipment is used, stored and maintained in accordance with organisational policies and WHS requirements.





- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of programs and operational processes.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Strong program coordination, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

- A versatile, adaptable and solution-focused approach.

- Experience with coordinating, supporting and leading teams of casual staff or volunteers.

- The ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of participants and stakeholders.

- A passion for supporting the growth, development and wellbeing of young people.

Experience in coordinating programs, activities, staff, volunteers, events, camps or similar initiatives will be highly regarded. A demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of the Uniting Church and the ability to contribute positively to a Christian ministry environment are essential.
