We're looking for an experienced Quarry Manager to provide 6 weeks annual leave cover on Christmas Island!

You must hold a Quarry Manager's Certificate and have gone through the LGRIS approval process to be considered.

QUARRY MANAGER

Start: ASAP

Roster: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Hours: Monday to Saturday (10hr days)

Duration: One swing at this stage with possible extension

Location: Christmas Island (flights and accommodation included)

Rate: $90-100 per hour depending on experience (+ $65 per day meal allowance)

The Role: Providing annual leave cover, you will step into the Quarry Manager position and oversee daily mining activities and hazards, review production plans, monitor mining conditions, and provide visible workforce leadership; as well as play an active role in risk management, safety leadership, and ground and excavation management.

Please note:



This is annual leave cover and as such is not an ongoing position - you will complete one swing of 6 weeks, with the possibility of another swing.

Essential Requirements:

- You must hold a current Quarry Manager's Certificate and have completed the LGRIS approval process to be considered
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Quarry Manager in the Western Australian mining/resources sector
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Ability to complete full medical with drug/alcohol screen
- Full Australian Working Rights
