Bribie Island Bowls Club is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Located in a fantastic waterfront setting, Bribie Island Bowls Club is a busy and well-established hospitality venue serving our members, guests and visitors seven days a week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef who takes pride in producing quality food, enjoys working as part of a team and wants to be part of a professional, supportive kitchen environment.

About the role
As a Chef at Bribie Island Bowls Club, you will play an important role in delivering consistently high-quality meals and memorable dining experiences for our members and guests.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and cooking of food while working closely with the kitchen and hospitality teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of quality meals across our diverse menu
- Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen at all times
- Follow all food safety, workplace health and safety requirements and club procedures
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service
- Assist with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
- Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture
About you
- At least 2-3 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
