The position

We are hiring an experienced Product Manager to shape SaaS products that deliver real value for our clients.

You’ll lead client-focused discovery to develop a deep understanding of workflows, challenges and evolving needs, while working closely with Engineering, QA, Support and Client Success.

Your insights, product data and technical contribution will influence product decisions and shape solutions across AI, automation, integrations and collaboration features, supporting the ongoing evolution of the FYI platform.

Key responsibilities

- Own product outcomes end-to-end, from discovery and definition through to delivery, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with clients, regularly engaging with them to understand their workflows, pain points and evolving needs.
- Lead product discovery, asking the right questions and using client insights, data and evidence to identify the problems that matter most.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with client needs, market opportunities and FYI’s strategic priorities.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, QA, Support and Client Success, creating clarity, accountability and momentum.

About you





- Proven Product Management experience within SaaS or software environments.
- Experience within accounting or professional services environments is highly advantageous.
- Genuinely passionate about product, with a robust desire to understand users and build technology that solves meaningful problems.
- Naturally curious and inquisitive, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions and dig deeper to understand the real problem.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role, with experience conducting discovery, gathering insights and building trusted relationships with clients.
- A strong ownership mindset, with the confidence to make decisions and take accountability from initial discovery through to product outcomes.
- Proven experience working closely with Engineering teams in Agile delivery environments.

You’ll need valid working rights in Australia and the ability to complete satisfactory background and verification checks as part of our standard recruitment process.
