What is our Clinical Classification Specialist role?

This position will oversees the delivery of strategic and operational clinical coding initiatives within the NMHS Clinical Coding Practice Framework. Provides expert advice, guidance and mentoring to clinical coders regarding clinical coding standards, systems, medical science knowledge and Activity Based Funding (ABF) impacts. Develops, supports and implements structured education, training and audit programs and frameworks. Plans, implements and evaluates quality audit and improvement initiatives.
