Are you passionate about working outdoors and keen to build a real career in gardening? The Bayside Gardener has been a trusted name in garden maintenance since 1982, and we're growing our team.

We're looking for motivated apprentices who want to learn, work hard, and develop into skilled, qualified gardeners in a supportive and professional environment.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for this apprenticeship position.

THE POSITION IS FULL TIME

About the role

As an apprentice, you'll gain experience across all aspects of garden maintenance, including:

• Planting and caring for a wide range of plants
• Using power tools such as blowers, hedge trimmers and mowers




• Identifying pests and assisting with pest control
• Lawn mowing, edging and general maintenance
• Weeding, fertilising and improving garden beds
• Assisting with basic irrigation and general garden works

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who:

• Enjoys working outdoors and staying active
• Is reliable, motivated and keen to learn
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Has a basic interest in plants ......THIS IS A MUST
• Holds a valid driver's licence (manual preferred)

Important requirements

• Applicants must have full Australian working rights

. Have some basic knowledge and experience of gardening

• Only applicants currently residing in Australia will be considered
• Sponsorship is not available for this role
