About the Opportunity
The Facilities and Open Space Team are recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of community and recreation building and open space projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and supportive team and provide end-to-end project management for a varied portfolio of projects. Working alongside stakeholders, you will drive project success through effective leadership, stakeholder engagement, risk management and continuous improvement practices.
Key responsibilities as Senior Project Manager include:
- Leading the delivery of major and minor projects, including through design, planning, construction and closure phases.
- Developing and maintaining solid stakeholder relationships with project sponsors, external stakeholders, consultants and contractors.
- Managing project risks. issues and dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation including project plans, programs and required forecasting and reporting.
- Monitoring project performance, budgets and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope and budget..
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO.
Remuneration begins at $105.5K to $117.9K (Band 7) plus superannuation.

About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering great outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively with others.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven project management experience delivering major building projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- The ability to balance competing priorities to deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Experience with project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong reporting, governance and project documentation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Green Star and BESS ESD assessment tools will be highly regarded.
