We are currently seeking experienced Boning Room Meat Workers to join our client's busy meat processing facility.
This is a full time, ongoing opportunity for people with previous experience working in a boning room environment. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who understand the importance of working safely, maintaining quality standards and keeping up with production requirements.
About the Role
Working as part of the boning room team, your duties may include:
- Boning and breaking down meat
- Trimming and preparing product
- Knife work and meat processing
- Slicing and portioning product
- Removing defects and excess fat
- Working to production targets
- Maintaining product quality and presentation
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- General duties within the boning room as required
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working in a boning room
- Strong knife skills and experience handling meat
- Experience working with beef, lamb, goat or other small stock highly regarded
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual work
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full working rights in Australia
