About the role

We are seeking a Sales Team Member to join our team at our Caringbah NSW location. This is a part-time position that offers a flexible working arrangement ideal for individuals looking to balance work with other commitments. As a Sales Team Member, you will be at the heart of our customer experience, providing expert advice and guidance to help customers select the ideal lounges and seating solutions for their needs. You will play a vital role in driving sales and building customer loyalty through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers in a warm and professional manner and understanding their individual needs and preferences

- Providing detailed product knowledge and recommendations tailored to customer requirements and budgets

- Demonstrating lounges and seating options to showcase features, comfort and design appeal

- Assisting customers through the sales process, including discussing customisation options, pricing and payment methods

- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming showroom setting

- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

- Collaborating with team members to ensure excellent service delivery and meet sales targets

- Following company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements





What we're looking for

- Previous experience in retail or sales, particularly in furniture or home décor (preferred but not essential)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service

- Ability to listen actively and understand customer needs to provide tailored recommendations

- Strong sales ability with the confidence to close sales and suggest additional products

- Product knowledge or a willingness to quickly learn about lounge styles, fabrics, comfort features and customisation options

- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled

- A professional appearance and positive attitude that reflects our brand values

- Proficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems, or a quick learner

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
