About the role

Marriott Meat is seeking an experienced, qualified butcher to run its Marleston retail shop and assist with wholesale preparation during quieter periods. The role includes cutting and preparing beef, lamb, pork and poultry, serving customers, maintaining displays and preparing specific cuts to order. There is also scope to introduce specials and new product ideas. Marriott Meat primarily supplies hotels, restaurants and hospitality businesses, so the role offers a mix of retail and wholesale butchery.

About you

- Qualified butcher with solid trade experience

- Strong knife, cutting, trimming and portioning skills

- Retail butchery experience

- Experience across beef, lamb, pork and poultry

- Comfortable with wholesale preparation

- Solid customer service skills

- Reliable and able to work independently

- Available for early starts, five days per week and some overtime

- Able to demonstrate practical knife skills
