About the role

Mulgrave Country Club is seeking four experienced Front of House Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidates will have proven experience across both café and bar operations and be confident working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. We are looking for people who can naturally read a room, anticipate guest needs, take initiative and contribute to a seamless service experience without needing constant direction. What you'll be doing

- Working across both the café and bar, including coffee preparation and beverage services

- Delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive Member and guest experiences

- Greeting customers, taking orders and processing payments

- Monitoring service areas and proactively responding to customer needs

- Maintaining awareness of the Club, identifying opportunities to assist guests, clear tables, replenish stock and support fellow team members

- Ensuring food and beverages are served efficiently and to a high standard

- Assisting with functions, events and special club activities

- Following food safety requirements and Club policies and procedures

- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment

What we're looking for

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy hospitality, café or bar environment

- Strong experience in both bar service and café/barista operations is essential

- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

- Current Food Handling Certificate

- Outstanding customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace

- A proactive approach with the ability to scan the room, anticipate customer needs and identify what needs attention without being directed





- Confidence working independently and using initiative during busy service periods

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

- Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent service standards

- Team-focused attitude with a willingness to support colleagues across all areas of the venue

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
