Workforce International is currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and hands-on Traffic Controller/Labourer to join our valued government client. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, working outdoors and being part of a supportive team.

With consistent hours, a 9-day fortnight and the potential for overtime, weekend and night work, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build your experience within a government environment while maintaining a great work-life balance.

What you'll be doing:

· Prepare, clean and maintain vehicles to a high standard

· Assist with the protected loading and unloading of trucks

· Operate vans and undertake vehicle escort duties as required

· Safely transport vehicles to and from designated work sites

· Complete a variety of general labouring and manual handling tasks

· Carry out traffic control activities while maintaining a strong focus on site safety





· Assist with day-to-day operations across the yard and work sites, working collaboratively with the wider team

What you need:

· Traffic Control Ticket (essential)

· Current Car Licence (essential)

· Workers on Foot (essential)

· Truck Licence (preferred)

· Forklift Licence (highly regarded)

We’re looking for reliable and punctual candidates who are physically fit, comfortable with hands-on work, and enjoy working outdoors and around vehicles. You’ll need to be safety-conscious, able to follow instructions and procedures, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
