Who are we?
TRACQS provides individually tailored employment services to RAES job seekers across the Western Tablelands region.
We acknowledge and embrace the diversity the region provides with its major labour markets ranging from harvest trails to tourism. What will you be doing?
Your role will be to empower participants by identifying and building on their existing capabilities, aspirations, and potential. You will achieve this by:
- Maintaining files, file notes, Job Plans and relevant forms for job seekers on your case load to ensure contractual compliance.
- Undertaking quality assessments and strengthen based approach appointments with every job seeker you work with.
- Identifying, addressing and completing job seeker barriers using the Intervention Management Tool (IMT).
- Development of quality, compliant and tailored Job Plans.
- Supporting job seekers to engage in Community Projects activities and link to host organisations.
Who are you?
Skills and experience we look for include:
- Experience in Remote Employment Services, Jobs Services Australia,
Disability Employment Services or similar
- Knowledge and experience of case management
- Ability to manage time, set priorities and achieve outcomes in a demanding setting
- Previous experience in working with Job Seekers & Indigenous communities.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander protocol and culture.
- Current driver's licence.
- Technology literate, including sound skills in using Windows-based software, Internet, and Email.
- Highly effective, well-organised administration and record keeping skills
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
