Fulton Hogan is proud to manage the Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance Contract with a skilled team that perform works including; minor civil works, guard rail repairs, line marking, pavement repairs, landscaping, vegetation management, horticultural and arborist works, litter collection, street sweeping, cleaning both Airside and landside locations at Sydney Airport.
Whats on offer?
We're looking for a Landscape Team Leader to join our Sydney Airport Grounds Maintenance team. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll lead a crew delivering landscaping, vegetation management, horticultural and arborist works across a unique and dynamic environment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced landscaper or horticultural professional who enjoys working outdoors, leading from the front and taking pride in maintaining high-quality green spaces. As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily landscape maintenance activities, supporting apprentices and labourers, managing resources and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll work closely with supervisors, subcontractors and clients while helping to develop the skills and success of your team.

What you'll do
- Lead and support a team delivering landscaping, vegetation management and horticultural works across Sydney Airport
- Coordinate daily activities and allocate tasks in line with maintenance schedules and operational priorities
- Provide guidance, mentoring and on-the-job support to apprentices and labourers
- Interpret landscape plans and ensure works are completed to specification and quality standards
- Carry out a variety of hands-on landscaping and soft-scaping activities alongside your crew
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
- Monitor productivity, manage work records and complete daily work summaries
- Promote and maintain protected work practices and compliance with WHS requirements
- Build positive working relationships with supervisors, management and client representatives
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to a positive team culture
