About the role

Stark Aviation Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team on a contract basis. This is a crucial role within our road transport operations, based in Gingin, WA 6503. As a Fuel Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fuel and hazardous materials to various locations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our supply chain operations run smoothly and safely, supporting the broader objectives of Stark Aviation Pty Ltd in delivering reliable logistics services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Operating and safely driving fuel tanker vehicles.

- Loading and unloading fuel.

- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the tanker is in good working condition

- Maintaining accurate records of fuel deliveries, routes travelled, and any incidents or issues encountered

- Communicating effectively with dispatch, clients, and other team members to ensure timely and secure deliveries

- Following all traffic laws and maintaining safe driving practices at all times

- Refueling Helicopters / training provided

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and ensuring all safety equipment is present and functional

What we're looking for

- A current, valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's license

- Current Dangerous Goods (DG)

- Proven experience driving tanker vehicles, preferably in fuel transport

- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials handling and safety regulations

- Excellent safety record and commitment to adherence with all legal and company safety requirements

- Ability to read and interpret route maps, delivery schedules, and vehicle instrumentation

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude towards work





- Physical fitness to perform loading, unloading, and other manual tasks associated with the role
