About the Opportunity:

Are you an ambitious, analytical, and commercially minded finance qualified looking to make a direct impact in a global industry leader?

Leonardo Australia is seeking an energetic Management Accountant to join our team in Fishermans Bend. Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, driving commercial insights,



and supporting high-level decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will hold end-to-end ownership across financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting:

- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual group financial reports (including Hyperion) and provide insightful commentary on business KPIs.

- Financial Integrity: Own trial balance accuracy, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and process complex journal entries (accruals, prepayments, provisions, and intercompany transactions).

- Cash Flow & Budgeting: Maintain and update monthly cash flow forecasts while assisting with annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a proactive financial partner to internal stakeholders, solving problems and delivering transparent, high-integrity financial data.

- Audit & Compliance: Support annual audit processes and ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, legislation, and corporate policies.

What We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Qualifications: CA or CPA qualification with a relevant tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance.

- Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in a similar financial or management accounting role.

- Technical Skills: Strong accounting fundamentals and intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel capabilities. Experience with SAP and/or Hyperion is highly desirable.

- Mindset & Style: An enquiring, analytical mind with a proactive approach to commercial problem-solving.

- Communication & Drive: High energy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently while remaining a key team player.
