About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Blind & Awning Installer to join our team, fitting blinds, awnings, curtains and related window furnishings at customer homes and businesses. No industry experience is necessary — full training is provided — but a practical trade background will help you pick things up quickly.

Key responsibilities

- Install blinds, awnings, curtains and related window furnishings to a high standard of quality and finish

- Accurately follow job sheets, measurements and installation instructions provided by the office

- Report to the office each morning to collect job sheets, stock and materials

- Load, transport and care for the company vehicle, tools and equipment provided

- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers on-site

- Identify and report any site issues, variations or additional work required back to the office

- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe worksite, and leave customer properties in good order

- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures, including secure working at heights

- Work cooperatively with other installers, office staff and management

About you

- Hands-on trade experience — carpentry, joinery, construction, or a similar practical trade background that translates naturally into installation work

- No blinds/window furnishings experience required — full training provided

- Comfortable working in high-end architectural homes and alongside leading local builders,



with an understanding of the presentation and professionalism that environment expects

- A solution-driven approach — someone who looks for the fix, not just the problem

- Comfortable contributing ideas and opinions; we want input that helps us improve, not just hands that follow instructions

- Works well alongside a team, with a genuine interest in helping the group get better as a whole

- Current, valid Australian driver's licence

- Physically fit and capable of manual installation work, including lifting, climbing and working at heights

- Reliable, punctual and well-presented

Benefits

- $35.00 per hour, plus Superannuation

- Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
