About the role

Leading the Residential Care management team, the role works closely with Care Managers, the Clinical Quality team and administration staff to ensure operational, quality and regulatory standards are met, while fostering a positive, accountable culture. The successful applicant will demonstrate significant experience leading multipdisciplinary teams in residential aged care, health or human services. A deep understanding of the Aged Care Standards and experience working in a heavily regulated environment will be well regarded.

Skills and Experience

- Deep knowledge of aged care operations, quality standards, funding and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, judgement and decision-making capability.
- Ability to establish clear accountability and lead through change.
- Sound financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, labour costs and operational performance.




- Demonstrated skills in workforce planning, problem solving and organisational ability.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement skills together with strong verbal and written communication.
- High level of skilled integrity, accountability and resilience.
- Proficiency in electronic care, MS Office applications and workforce planning/business systems.

Qualifications

- A tertiary qualification or substantial equivalent experience in health, aged care, business management or a related discipline is required.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is desirable but not essential.

Pre-employment Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to undertake:

- National Criminal History (Police) Check.
- Functional Assessment.
- Accreditation check of qualifications.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
