Whitehaven Coal are seeking experienced Technicians to join our dedicated team at Maules Creek mine providing support and maintenance on a large variety of Operational Technology systems across the mine infrastructure and mobile fleet. You will utilise your strong fault finding and problem-solving skills in a challenging and fast paced setting which requires minimal response times.

What You’ll Do

- Working across a range of systems and technologies, you will deliver high quality solutions for:
- Site telecommunications including mesh, CCTV and industrial networks
- Two-way radio systems and radio/Wi-Fi point to point links
- Fleet management systems
- IT and OT systems including network monitoring and security systems
- Demonstrate visible safe work practices, managing risk and acting as safety role model every day

What You’ll Bring





- Trade qualification in either Electronics and Telecommunications, Auto Electrical or Electrotechnology (or other relevant tertiary certification)
- Mine site experience (desirable)
- ACMA open cabling licence (desirable)
- Strong time management, troubleshooting & problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
