About the role

The Macarthur Tavern is looking for a confident, motivated, and hands-on Full-Time Duty Manager to help lead our busy and welcoming venue. Key responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day operations across the bar, bistro, gaming, and TAB areas.

- Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards.

- Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, ARCG, WHS, and all venue policies and procedures.

- Maintain high standards of venue presentation, cleanliness, and safety.

- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.

- Assist with staff training and development.

- Work closely with Venue Management to ensure smooth daily operations and achieve business goals.

- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift management.

About you

- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor,



or hospitality leadership role.

- Current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.

- Current NSW RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certificate.

- Current NSW ARCG (Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certificate – essential.

- Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to remain calm, organised, and confident during busy service periods.

- Excellent customer service and team management skills.

- Availability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
