Here at Investa, we’re all about creating spaces that reflect how people work, live, and thrive today—and how they’ll want to do so in the future. For over 20 years, we’ve led the way in making positive change in Australia’s workplaces. We’re an Australian diversified real estate company with a recognised track-record of investment and development across both office and living markets. Our purpose is to welcome the world to better places. We’re people first and entrepreneurial, with a strong service ethos.

Why join us? We’ve made it our business to understand how people want to live and work today, tomorrow and beyond and as you’d expect, we practise what we preach in our own workplace as well. We’re known for our supportive, inclusive, and flexible work culture. With recognition from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, the Australian Workplace Equality Index, and multiple awards for workplace flexibility, our people and the way we work together are our difference.

We’re looking for a commercially minded and team-oriented Asset Manager to join our Asset Management team, supporting the delivery of strategies that maximise the performance and long-term value of a portfolio of assets.

Working closely with Investment Management and our Real Estate Services teams, you’ll play an important role in shaping and executing asset strategies across leasing, capital expenditure, financial performance and ESG initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of stakeholders and contribute to key investment decisions, while building strong relationships with major tenants, agents, valuers and other industry partners.

Your key responsibilities:

- Undertake financial modelling and feasibility analysis to support commercial recommendations and investment decisions.

- Support leasing strategies and direct leasing matters, while maintaining strong relationships with major tenants, tenant representatives and agents.

- Lead and coordinate major capital expenditure and asset repositioning initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate asset valuations and review key inputs including leasing assumptions, market rents and incentive forecasts.

- Support asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and the integration of current assets into the platform.

- Provide market insights and strategic advice to support asset and investment decisions.

- Work collaboratively across Investment Management, Real Estate Services, Finance, Projects & Capital Works, Research and Sustainability.

- Promote and support ESG and sustainability initiatives aligned with Fund/Mandate strategies.

What you bring:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Property or a related discipline.

- At least 5 years’ experience within the property industry, with experience in strategic asset management.

- Strong understanding of the Australian commercial property market and the factors influencing asset performance.

- Sound knowledge of real estate funds management and investment principles.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

- The ability to interpret market, financial and operational information and turn it into practical recommendations.

- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence and negotiate effectively.

- Excellent planning, organisation and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams.

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

- A collaborative mindset, strong judgement and a genuine interest in contributing to a high-performing team.

What we offer:
