Do Work That Matters
Be part of the team that keeps CommBank strong, resilient and ready for what’s next. Financial Services brings together finance, treasury, audit and assurance to strengthen governance, manage risk and support a resilient balance sheet. From using data, automation and AI to deliver forward-looking insights, to partnering across the Group on strategic decisions, you’ll work on meaningful challenges while building your career.
Group Audit and Assurance is CommBank’s internal audit function, providing independent and objective assurance over the effectiveness of the Group’s risk management, controls and governance processes.
The function is undergoing significant transformation, evolving from a traditional assurance model towards a more strategic role that delivers greater insight and foresight, identifies themes across the enterprise and helps the organisation anticipate emerging risks.
As Executive Manager, Change and Capability, you’ll lead the change required to bring this strategy to life. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll strengthen change capability, build organisational readiness and help embed sustainable new ways of working across the function.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

You will bring:
- Significant experience leading organisational change or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Robust capability across change strategy, impact assessment, readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication and adoption.
- Experience delivering technology, digital, AI,
automation or new ways of working initiatives.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders, build alignment and constructively challenge established approaches.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, coaching and partnering skills.
- Sound program and project management capability, from planning through to implementation and embedding.
- The judgement and adaptability to establish structure and momentum in a lean, evolving environment.
- A collaborative and curious approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and sustainable outcomes.
Experience in financial services, risk, assurance or audit would be valuable but is not essential. Exposure to AI, data or digital capability uplift would be highly regarded.
