The role requires a candidate that is meticulous, inquisitive and has a high attention to detail.
Quality of workmanship and accuracy is paramount in this role due to the nature of the potentially lifesaving systems being repaired and calibrated correctly.The Remote Diagnostic Technician has a solid automotive technical background and experience.
Understands modern vehicle technology, particularly high-tech body and chassis electronic systems including ADAS, ABS, Body Control, SRS, EPS and requires a sound understanding of vehicle diagnostic platforms and software.
We're looking for someone that has strong diagnostic skills and is competent in the use of multiple diagnostic platforms and software.Key Responsibilities Include:Interprets repair procedures and follows them to a successful outcomeDocuments work carried out comprehensivelyCarries out required tasks with high accuracyConfident.
Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Maintains workspace and company equipment to high standardsReports to all levels comfortably and confidentlyEmphasis on customer satisfactionWorks well both independently and in a teamQualifications and Education RequirementsFully qualified automotive technician.Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repairs.At least 2+ years as a diagnostic or master technician.Current, clean, full driving license (manual & automatic).
Preferred SkillsOEM training and dealer-level experience highly regarded.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Computer literacy and ability to operate multiple diagnostic platforms.Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical findings.Experience interpreting wiring diagrams and technical data.Report writing with accuracy and clarityThis role is suited to candidates who are passionate about diagnostics, value precision, and thrive in a remote support environment where accuracy and customer satisfaction are critical.
