About the RoleWe are looking for a Merchant Onboarding Associate to join our Melbourne team and support merchant activation across Australia.As the dedicated Merchant Onboarding team member in Melbourne, you will take ownership of onboarding cases and work closely with Business Development, Compliance, and HQ Operations to ensure merchants progress from signed agreement through to successful activation.You will coordinate across internal teams, review onboarding and KYC documentation, identify outstanding requirements, manage onboarding pipelines, and ensure cases are progressed accurately and within SLA.This role is ideal for someone who is highly-organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced fintech environment.What You'll DoManage the end-to-end merchant onboarding process from signed agreement to activationReview and validate KYC and onboarding documentation for completeness and accuracyIdentify missing or incorrect information and coordinate with Business Development to resolve outstanding requirementsWork closely with Business Development, Compliance, and HQ Operations to progress merchant applications efficientlyAct as the key onboarding point of contact for internal teams in MelbourneEnsure onboarding activities meet compliance requirements, internal procedures,



and SLAsMaintain accurate merchant information across CRM and onboarding systemsMonitor onboarding pipelines and proactively follow up with internal stakeholders on outstanding casesManage multiple merchant applications while maintaining a high level of accuracy and turnaround timeSupport onboarding reporting and identify opportunities to improve internal processes and onboarding efficiencyWhat We're Looking For0–2 years of experience in onboarding, operations, KYC/AML, sales support, banking, fintech, client services, or a similar environmentFresh graduates are welcome to applyStrong attention to detail and ability to review documentation accuratelyStrong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlinesComfortable working across different teams and coordinating multiple stakeholdersProactive and accountable, with the confidence to take ownership of cases from start to completionStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environmentAble to work independently while collaborating closely with local and regional teamsNice to HaveExposure to KYC / AML / compliance processesExperience in fintech, payments, banking, SaaS, or financial servicesFamiliarity with CRM, onboarding, or workflow management systemsExperience working in an operations or sales-support environmentWhy Join KPay?
