With over 20,000 residents across Australia, we combine smart design, brilliant service, and good vibes to make every resident feel welcome.Now part of The Living Company, we're shaping the future of student living, one amazing experience at a time.THE ROLEJoining our Facilities team and working across our central Sydney Scape portfolio, you'll help keep the best purpose-built student accommodation in Australia running safely and smoothly.Plumbers are responsible for the preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of plumbing and hydraulic systems across our properties, working closely with Facilities Managers to ensure residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained place to live.Key areas of responsibility for the successful candidate will include:Performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnosing plumbing problems to repair or replace broken pipes, taps and other componentsServicing and maintaining gas and electric hot water systems, and locating and repairing issues with water supply and waste lines, including leaks and blockagesCarrying out CCTV drain inspections and responding to emergency plumbing calls, including after-hours work or on-call rotations as neededInstalling, maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems and equipment, and installing,



testing and commissioning new equipment or system upgrades during capital works or facility modificationsEnsuring all plumbing installation, repair and commissioning work is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS **** (Plumbing and Drainage) and relevant state regulationsMaintaining accurate maintenance records, inspection logs and up-to-date hydraulic drawingsLiaising and coordinating with Facilities Managers and other maintenance trades to schedule work and minimise disruption to residentsParticipating in a 7-day on-call roster, responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and urgent repairs outside normal working hoursIdentifying opportunities to improve water efficiency and recommending upgrades, repairs or fixture replacements where appropriateTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe are seeking a hands-on, safety-conscious tradesperson who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive, fast-paced team.The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:A current, government-issued Plumbing, Drainage and Gas Fitting Licence (specific requirements vary by state/territory)A current Construction Induction Card (White Card) for construction sitesExperience providing plumbing services, and using and maintaining power tools and equipmentStrong knowledge of hydraulic theory, water distribution and waste systemsProficiency in reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics,
