About the roleWe are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our My Community Home Care (MCHC) team in the role of Health Care Worker.As a Community Health Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care, assisting our consumers to remain living independently in their own homes by providing assistance with domestic and personal care, social support, respite, and transport.
Our service areas include Bethanga, Bellbridge, Dartmouth, Eskdale, Mitta Mitta and Tallangatta.
Within close proximity to Albury/Wodonga, you can enjoy some of north-east Victoria's beautiful scenery while travelling between clients in a company supplied vehicle.This is a Monday to Friday (no weekend work) role and requires a current First Aid certificate or a willingness to obtain.
Key Responsibilities Include:Provide safe, person-centred care that promotes consumer independence and dignity.Assist with personal care, nutrition, hydration, continence care, and medication support as authorised.Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in consumer condition.Work in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organisational policies in aged care and/or community settings.What's on Offer:Permanent part-time or casual hours6-8 hours shiftsFlexibility to find a fit that works for youUse of company vehicle to travel to consumer's homesRemuneration in line with the Health & Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers Enterprise Agreement ($30-$33/hr based on qualifications and experience)About youYou are passionate about what you do and want to support our consumers to live life to their potential,
