This role suits an individual who is enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our business while delivering high-quality inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and fire pump sets across a variety of client sites.You'll support our growing client base to ensure we continue providing outstanding customer service and compliant fire protection solutions.
If you are looking for a hands-on role with diversity, autonomy, and long-term career growth, this opportunity is for you.This role will be a key position within our operations team, working under the guidance of the Operations Manager, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:Conduct routine inspection and testing of sprinkler systems and fire pump setsPerform sprinkler flow testing across diverse building classificationsTesting of sprinkler and hydrant pump setsCarry out fault finding and troubleshooting activitiesPerform visual inspections of sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and associated equipmentRecord test results, maintenance activities, and deficiencies identified during inspectionsComplete service reports and compliance documentation accurately and on timeLiaise with customers and site contacts to coordinate testing activitiesSupport minor breakdown repairs and servicing works, including 5-yearly servicing of wet fire systemsMaintain safe work practices and contribute to the company's safety cultureWhy You Will Love Working With AESM36 hour weekCompetitive wages,

Experience and SkillsPrevious experience and qualifications as a Sprinkler Fitter within the Fire IndustryRegistered Sprinkler Fitter qualification through the VBA (Victorian Building Authority)Advanced exposure in testing diverse wet fire systems across various building classificationsExperience testing sprinkler and hydrant pump setsProficient in conducting sprinkler flow testingStrong fault finding andtroubleshooting capabilitiesProficient reporting and documentation skillsOH&S; Induction Training / White CardAbility to work autonomously with strong time management skillsBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office for reporting and documentationStrong operational and safety skillsEffective communication skills at all levelsAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a teamWillingness to learn current skills and technologiesStrong focus on safety and reliabilityExperience with minor breakdown repair works and 5-yearly servicing of wet fire systems highly regardedSuccessful applicant required to undertake Police and Working With Children checksAbout AESMAESM are an industry leading fire protection organisation specialising in comprehensive maintenance services.
