Telecommunications Technician Morgan Construction Enterprises Pty Ltd 539 Warbrook Road, Bullsbrook WA **** Full time, Permanent $90,000 – $100,000 per year + superannuationAbout the roleMorgan Construction Enterprises Pty Ltd (MCE) is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Based from our Bullsbrook operations, the position involves working on telecommunications projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional Western Australia.
The Telecommunications Technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment and networks.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with our telecommunications rigging and construction crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
This position involves both Perth metropolitan and regional WA projects, and applicants must be willing to travel and work away when required.Key responsibilitiesInstallation, testing and commissioning of telecommunications equipment and systemsPerform telecommunications installation and commissioning works in accordance with project requirementsRead and interpret construction plans, telecommunications designs, work instructions, MOPs and technical documentationUndertake testing,



fault finding and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment and networksDiagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutionsMonitor and maintain telecommunications networks and associated equipmentPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on telecommunications equipmentInstall, configure and maintain mobile telecommunications equipment and associated systemsUse telecommunications test and measuring equipment to verify system performanceEnsure installations, testing and commissioning meet client specifications and quality requirementsPrepare and maintain relevant technical, site and project documentationLiaise with the Project Manager, clients, crew members and other contractors as requiredMaintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanshipComply with company policies, procedures and reasonable instructionsUndertake other duties relevant to the position as requiredQualifications, licences & experienceMinimum 3 years' relevant experience in the telecommunications industryDemonstrated experience in the installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunications equipmentExperience with telecommunications fault finding, troubleshooting and maintenanceStrong knowledge of telecommunications equipment, systems and network principlesAbility to read and interpret telecommunications designs, construction plans,
