The ClientCuddlez Preschool & Montessori in Quakers Hill, NSW is a reputable childcare centre who provides impactful guidance for young children through their early childhood development stages.The RoleThe role for hire is an Early Childhood Teacher based in Quakers Hill, NSW, it is a full time role with an annual salary set at $80,000 to $83,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.The ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of childrenLead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activityPlan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of childrenAssess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff membersObserve children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisorGuide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habitsEstablish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with childrenMay plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hoursMay supervise and co-coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.Early childhood educator assistants perform some or all of the following duties:Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of childrenEngage children in activities by telling stories,

First Aid Qualifications and Training (CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, General First Aid)At least 12 months of professional experience in early childhood teaching in AustraliaAt least 12 months' experience teaching in early childhood education settings, delivering programs aligned with EYLF and NQS.At least 12 months' experience in curriculum development, child assessment, and educational programming.At least 12 months' experience mentoring and supervising educators in early childhood pedagogy and best practices.At least 12 months' experience supporting children with diverse learning needs and implementing inclusive teaching strategies.At least 12 months' experience liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies to support children's learning outcomes.Thorough knowledge of the National Quality FrameworkA current knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and the ability to implement a program that caters to diversity amongst the children, educators, families and communityA working knowledge and thorough understanding of the national quality standards, the education and care services national law act **** and the education and care services national regulations ****Well-developed communication and inter-personal skills with children, adults, fellow educators and the communityAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment, being sensitive to the strength and weaknesses of fellow team members
