About the RoleConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone.
Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure.The Depot & Logistics Coordinator position is integral to manage and maintain the efficient operation of depot, yard, warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities.
This will ensure the safe, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, distribution, and control of materials, equipment, and fleet-related resources that support ConnectSydney's Civil and ITS maintenance operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, operational excellence, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain efficient, well-ordered storage facilities (yard and warehouse)Maintain a tidy, safe, organised and efficient depot and storage environmentsImplement and maintain accurate inbound and outbound goods receipting procedures.Pick/Assemble material job packs for field crews on a daily basis and ensure returns are logged and stored accurately and efficientlyProvide Logistics / courier services to all supervisors as and when requestedOversee inventory management and ordering of both supplies and quarry materials to always ensure appropriate quantities for all work activities.Assist Civil and ITS maintenance teams with depot activitiesSupport Depot and Fleet manager with fleet related activitiesAbout YouPrevious logistical experience within yard or warehousing operationsExperience within Civil maintenance activities or electrical distribution environmentsPrevious experience utilising Warehouse Management Systems e.g. SAPFundamental experience with order receivals and put-away processesPrevious inventory stocktake experienceMR Truck LicenceForklift LicenceComputer literacyStrong communication and time management skillsTelehandler Gold Card (desirable)About UsConnectSydney is an equal opportunity employer who believes diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and perks our people, clients, and communities.
