You take pride in producing high-quality food consistently and enjoy mentoring a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.Key AccountabilitiesHands-on food preparation and supervision of kitchen operationsOversee food quality control, menu development, and presentation standardsRecruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff for optimal performanceCollaborate with internal teams (kitchen, bar, operations, marketing) to ensure high-quality service and venue successManage food costs, budgets, and profitability while meeting revenue targetsMaintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulationsStay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations,



and best practicesAssist with front-of-house operations and function service as required.Essential Skills and Qualifications5+ years' experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step upRelevant professional certifications in kitchen operations or hospitalityKnowledge of food costing, menu planning, and kitchen managementStrong leadership and organisational skills to manage a diverse teamExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build relationships with staff, guests, and suppliersAbility to multitask and work under pressure in a high-volume environmentNational Police CheckAbout the VenueEast Fremantle Community Park is a unique, integrated space combining sport, leisure, and hospitality.
