With extensive experience in operations, training and helicopter maintenance, our staff are some of the most highly experienced and well-trained aviation professionals in the country.We are seeking an experienced Aviation Engineering Safety and Quality Specialist to join our growing Engineering team.
This newly created role has been established to support the continued expansion of our Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisations (AMOs), including Helicopter and Fixed Wing operations across Australia.
Ideally this role will be based in Brisbane or Bankstown but could be any Toll Aviation Site across Australia.Reporting to the Engineering Quality and Safety Manager, you will work closely with our Engineering, Safety and Operational stakeholders to support compliance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain the highest standards of aviation safety and quality across the business.
This hands‐on role is ideally suited to an aviation professional with a strong maintenance or engineering background who is looking to apply their technical expertise across safety, quality, compliance and operational improvement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct internal and vendor audits and manage corrective actionsInvestigate safety events and support root cause analysis activitiesManage Safety Action Group (SAG)



activities and monitor safety trendsSupport quality management systems and continuous improvement initiativesConduct risk assessments and compliance reviewsManage supplier accreditation and vendor assurance activitiesDeliver and support engineering safety and quality trainingSupport regulatory engagement activities and, over time, potentially act as a CASA-approved Form 4 holderMore about you:Significant experience within the aviation industryAircraft maintenance experience, ideally as a LAME (Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) or similar engineering maintenance roleStrong knowledge of CASA regulations, Part 145 environments and/or Safety Management Systems (SMS)Experience working within highly regulated aviation operationsStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel nationally as requiredHighly RegardedInternal or external auditing experienceLead Auditor or other auditing qualificationsSafety investigator trainingExperience conducting investigations and risk assessmentsExperience with Air Maestro, Gannet and Power BIExposure to both rotary-wing and fixed-wing maintenance environmentsWhat moves you?
