We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our Unison team and play an important role in supporting our Production, Design and Buying teams throughout the product development process.Working closely with the Production Manager and wider team, you'll help keep production schedules and purchase orders up to date, coordinate samples and fit sessions, prepare technical packs and support our sustainability requirements.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong apparel production experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, cooperative environment.THE ROLEProvide day-to-day administrative support to the Production teamMaintain and update production trackers, schedules and monthly purchase ordersUpdate purchase orders against packing lists in partnership with Finance and Supply ChainMaintain organised filing of samples and production documentationCoordinate the collection and distribution of samples and supplier packsCreate and update technical drawings when requiredCoordinate sample arrivals and fit session schedules with the Production and Buying teamsEnsure offshore samples are steamed and presented to a high standard ahead of weekly fittingsBuild strong working relationships with suppliers, agents, factories and internal stakeholdersOn-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE2+ years' experience in a similar apparel production role, with offshore production experienceA tertiary qualification or equivalent in production and/or quality controlExperience in women's apparel is preferredA valuable understanding of garment construction,



size specifications and garment fittingsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitaskExcellent attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple production requirements movingStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent PC skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelA proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWHY JOIN THE BRANDBANK GROUP TEAM?
