Proactive Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for a Sales & Purchasing Administrator on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business based in Sandycroft.
This is a temporary roleThis is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to join a busy commercial team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales, Purchasing and Import departments and will receive full training and support to develop their skills across all areas of the business.We are keen to hear from candidates with previous sales or purchasing administration experience, but our client is also happy to consider experienced administrators with robust organisational skills and a willingness to learn.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales & Purchasing Administrator, your duties will include:Raising sales invoices and purchase ordersChasing outstanding customer and supplier ordersLiaising with both existing and prospective customers, as well as suppliersArranging freight transport for goods supplied to customers across the UK and from suppliers throughout EuropeCoordinating freight movements and supporting customs clearance processes for imported goodsMaintaining accurate records and ensuring internal systems, customers and colleagues are kept fully up to dateProviding general administrative support across sales,

Those who demonstrate commitment and strong performance will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and progress within the organisation.Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmBased in Sandycroft, Flintshire (North Wales)Convenient location with easy access from Chester, The Wirral, the A55 and M56Candidate RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:Previous experience within an administrative role, ideally within a sales, purchasing, customer service or commercial environmentExperience working with customers and suppliersStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailAccurate data entry skills and a methodical approach to workGood numerical abilityExcellent time management and the ability to prioritise a varied workloadGood IT skills, including experience using Excel, Google Sheets or similar softwareProfessional and confident communication skillsDesirable ExperienceThe following experience would be advantageous but is not essential:Sales or Purchasing Administration experienceAutomotive parts industry experienceImport, freight or customs administration experience
