Genuine pathway towards Financial Controller as the group growsBroad multi-entity role working closely with the CFOInner suburbs location close to a train station, one day WFHAbout the Role:If you're a technically strong accountant who wants ownership and breadth in your next role, this is an opportunity worth considering.We are partnering with a growing, $200m group to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant into a lean, well-regarded finance team.Working closely with an experienced CFO, you will take ownership of the core financial accounting across a number of businesses and legal entities.The remit is deliberately broad.
You will be responsible for the integrity of the balance sheet, month-end reporting, statutory accounts, audit, compliance and controls, with significant analysis and business partnering with operational stakeholders.The business has multiple entities and a high volume of work, creating an compelling layer of complexity around work in progress & revenue accounting.There is a genuine intent for this role to grow with the business and progress towards a Financial Controller role.About You:You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting fundamentals and the confidence to take genuine ownership of your work.Ideally, you will bring:Strong financial accounting experience across month end, balance sheet,
