Engineers are encouraged to take ownership, understand the bigger picture and build strong relationships with the clients they support.Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong Hazardous Areas capability who also enjoys the broader client and project side of engineering.
The Opportunity
You'll provide specialist Hazardous Area expertise while working directly with clients, collaborating across disciplines and helping solve practical engineering challenges.There is genuine flexibility around what the role can become.
You may want to remain technically focused, move into leadership, mentor others, become more involved with clients or help grow the Hazardous Areas capability within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Hazardous Area design,



classification and engineering solutionsWork directly with clients to understand requirements and solve problemsTake ownership of engineering work from scope through to deliveryCollaborate across engineering disciplinesSupport project scoping, estimating and deliveryMentor and share knowledge with other engineersContribute to the growth of the Hazardous Areas capability
About You
Takes ownership and follows things throughEnjoys working directly with clientsCommunicates comfortably across different stakeholdersWorks well in a multidisciplinary environmentIs practical and solutions-focusedEnjoys sharing knowledge and supporting othersWants some influence over how your career developsBachelor of Electrical Engineering is required, with RPEQ highly regardedMining, resources, power generation, energy or heavy industry experience would be advantageous.
