ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a safety-focused Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mount Gambier.
In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, inspection, maintenance and repair of Qube mobile machinery and ancillary equipment.Specific duties for this role will include carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding and repairs, completing workshop maintenance activities, responding to equipment breakdowns, maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with Qube's health, safety, environmental and quality standards.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCETrade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalentExperience servicing and repairing heavy mobile equipment and machineryCurrent driver's licence requiredStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of peopleDemonstrated safety behaviours and experienceAbility to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolutionAbility to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environmentExperience working within workshop, transport, ports or heavy industry environments (highly regarded)ABOUT YOUYou will be committed to safety in the workplace and be committed to 100% Chain of Responsibility compliance.
