TSM Strata is looking for a motivated Junior Owners Corporation Manager to join our growing Melbourne team.This is not a role where you'll be handed a large portfolio and expected to figure it out yourself.We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong customer service skills and attention to detail who we can train, support and develop over the first three months, with the goal of progressing you into managing your own portfolio of smaller, low-touch Owners Corporations.You'll work closely with experienced managers and senior leadership while building your confidence across meetings, correspondence, maintenance, compliance, financial matters and day-to-day portfolio management.What we're looking forYou don't need to know everything about Owners Corporation management yet.We're more interested in finding someone who:Has experience as an Owners Corporation Assistant, Strata Assistant, Property Assistant or similarIs ready to take the next step into managing their own propertiesHas exceptional customer service and communication skillsEnjoys dealing with people and building relationshipsHas a strong hospitality or service mindsetIs highly organised and detail orientatedLearns quickly and takes initiativeCan confidently manage competing priorities and follow tasks throughCommunicates professionally by phone and emailIs comfortable asking questions and learning from experienced team membersHolds a current driver's licenceExperience in hospitality, hotels, real estate or another customer-focused industry will also be highly regarded, particularly where you have developed strong people skills alongside your Owners Corporation experience.What you'll be doingInitially,



you'll work alongside our experienced Owners Corporation Managers and leadership team to further develop your skills across:Responding to owners, committees and contractorsCoordinating repairs and maintenancePreparing correspondence and meeting documentationAssisting with and eventually running committee and general meetingsReviewing invoices, quotations and financial informationFollowing up contractors and outstanding mattersUnderstanding Owners Corporation legislation and compliance requirementsBuilding relationships with committees and ownersMaintaining accurate records and following tasks through to completionAs your knowledge and confidence develops, we'll progressively transition a portfolio of smaller, lower-touch Owners Corporations to you to manage independently, with ongoing support available whenever you need it.We want this role to develop into a long-term career.You'll receive:3 days working from home each week2 days based in our Docklands officeA structured development pathway during your first three monthsDirect access to experienced managers and senior leadershipOngoing training and mentoringA manageable introduction to portfolio managementGenuine opportunities to progress as our Melbourne business growsA supportive team environment where you're encouraged to ask questions and developThe opportunity to build your own management style rather than simply inherit an overwhelming portfolioAbout TSM StrataTSM Strata is an established strata and Owners Corporation management business with a robust presence across NSW and Victoria.We believe good Owners Corporation management is ultimately about people, communication and service.Systems and legislation can be taught.
