An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated 2IC to join our team at Colonel Light Gardens Store.This role has is part of our succession planning strategy and is ideal for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to take the next step in their career or build the skill set for a Retail Manager.
Working closely with the Retail Manager and Pharmacists, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day retail operations of the store while developing the leadership skills required for future progression opportunities.No two days are the same, so adaptability, initiative, and a positive attitude towards change are essential.
You will be a hands‐on team member who leads by example, supports colleagues, and helps deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service and professional product adviceSupport daily retail operations and ensure high store presentation standardsAssist with merchandising, stock management, and promotional executionSupport team training and development initiativesAssist with roster coordination and workflow management when requiredMaintain strong product knowledge across health, beauty, and pharmacy categoriesContribute to achieving store sales and operational targetsFoster positive relationships with customers, team members, and key stakeholdersAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a senior retail roleA passion for community pharmacy and customer careStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environmentA willingness to learn, develop, and take on increasing responsibilityLeadership potential with a genuine interest in mentoring and supporting othersExperience within a community pharmacy environment will be highly regarded.Why Join Chemist King?
