BiomeBank is seeking a Graduate Scientist to join its Research & Development team in Adelaide.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your technical capability while contributing to evidence-based research, product development and innovation within the biotechnology industry.
Working alongside experienced scientists, you'll gain practical exposure to experimental work, laboratory techniques, data analysis and quality processes in a collaborative R&D; environment.
About the Role.
With guidance and supervision from the R&D; team, you will:Assist with the preparation and execution of experimental plansConduct routine laboratory and experimental activitiesCollect and analyse data and contribute to draft reportsMaintain accurate laboratory notebooks and electronic recordsFollow approved laboratory methods, protocols and proceduresDevelop your knowledge of scientific methods, laboratory techniques and data analysisAssist with laboratory equipment, housekeeping and compliance activitiesParticipate in team meetings and cross‐functional projectsWork in accordance with quality, safety, ethical and regulatory requirements.04th September, ****Launch your scientific career in Biotechnology.

ethical and regulatory requirements.About YouThis role would suit someone who has recently completed or is nearing completion of a relevant science degree and is eager to begin their career in a hands‐on laboratory and R&D; workplace.You'll bring:A Bachelor's degree, or near completion, in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related fieldPractical laboratory experience gained through university, placement, internship or early‐career employmentA basic understanding of microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology or a related scientific disciplineStrong attention to detail and an appreciation for accurate record keepingCuriosity and a genuine willingness to learnThe ability to follow established procedures and work effectively under supervisionGood communication and teamwork skills.Why Join BiomeBank?
